Amywell Phenolic Lockers
Phenolic Lockers meet or exceed all the functional requirements of a locker. They are built for heavy-use and security like metal lockers but will not dent or rust. Amywell lockers are waterproof like plastic lockers but less pliable than HDPE making them perfect as aquatic lockers , indoors or out. They have an attractive, contemporary design and are available in a wide variety of colors, woodgrains or patterns.
But unlike laminated MDF or wood lockers they are extremely durable, reliable, and will not delaminate. Our construction design is less expensive than traditional “cabinet” construction but just as sturdy, making the many advantages of solid phenolic lockers affordable for facilities on a budget.

Locker materials :
Phenolic resin panels
are neither a plastic nor a wood product, though they are related to and combine some of the best characteristics of both. The primary component is paper. Sheets of industrial kraft paper, similar to construction paper, are treated with phenolic resins. These are layered together and subjected to high heat and pressure causing the phenolic compounds to chemically “cross-bond”, irreversably fusing the papers into homogeneous panels. Melamine-impregnated decorative surface papers give the face of the panel its color or pattern and creates the scratch resistant surface.
