String wound cartridge filter is a deep layer filter element, and it mainly used in the quality of low viscosity and impurity filtering. It is made of textile fiber line(polypropylene line, absorbent cotton line), according to the specific process of precision winding in the porous frame(polypropylene or stainless steel). With dense inside and sparse outside cellular structure, so it can remove suspended solids, particle, and rust, etc. in the fluid. In addition, it has very good filter characteristics.

Thus, it controls the density of filter material with the thickness of the line or different winding tension. Only with dense inside and sparse outside structure’s string wound filter cartridge can effectively enhance the filtration efficiency and intercept more impurity particles. Wound type filter material of filtering precision is determined by the wire thickness and the wrapping density, the more thin wire material,and more closely together, so the pore will be smaller and higher precision. In the same way, wire material more compact, the filtration precision will be higher. However, we need to maintain its structure and pore size, so that providing a stable and uniform quality of the filter.
