This Passive PoE injector, whis a simple, cost-saving and convenient equipment for IP camera, IP phone, WiFi Access point, powered onver Ethernet cable.

The PoE injector can power PDs 100 meters far away from power source with safety, low-cost and easy installation.

This PoE injector is passive PoE but compatible with all IEEE802.3af/at powered devices, while power pins 4/5(+), 7/8(-) midspan. Because 802.3af/at standards support power pins 4/5V+, 7/8V- and 1/2V+, 3/6V-.

As you know, POE switch is expensive, while POE injector+normal switch= POE switch, which share the same function, but POE injector+mormal switch are much more economical.

(For most IP cameras, about 6 watts per camera, 8 watts if they have PTZ or IR features. If "12, POE" cameras, it still need 48V Powered Over Ethernet.)

Many popular devices like Ubiquiti use this method to centralize the power source - you can go for 328 ft with a 24v supply to a typical Access Point.

Connect the power supply you need (24v for Ubiquiti, 48v for 802.3at or 802.3af) and reduce the mess of cables. Reboot all 24 devices from one central location.
