Steel media with different materials as following product description with different shapes: round balls, flying saucer or UFO media, or ballcone and other customized shape, that used in barrels, vibratory finishing machines for various metal finishing applications including polishing of gold and silver jewelry, zinc die casting, cast aluminum, hinges, bearing cages, pistons, sintered bushes, watch parts, zip sliders; burnishing of coin blanks and stamping, jewelry, cutlery, and copper pipe fittings; mirror finishing of spoons and flatware, etc. Grinding media, work pieces, compound and water are loaded into barrels at a certain ratio and are put into motion. Abrasive media and work pieces rub each other caused by the difference in weight, shape, speed and direction of abrasive media and work pieces. The friction generated under such movement results in surface finishing.

Nylon, also known as Polyamide, has high tensile strength, good abrasion wear resistant and impact resistance and is widely used in many home and industrial products. Having a higher melting temperature than other conventional plastics it can be used when added heat resistance is necessary. It offers good chemical resistance to common chemicals, alkalies, weak acids and is compatible with motor oil, transmission fluid, and methanol. Common uses include: screws, gears, knobs, and other low stress industrial applications formally made in metal.Nylon Balls (Zytel®, Polymide) are used in check valves, light load bearings, knobs and toggle switches and other applications where low cost and resiliency are more important than hardness. They have a slippery surface that reduces wear caused by friction.

Delrin/POM Plastic Balls: Delrin is the name commonly used for the less commonly known polyoxymethylene (POM) acetal plastic.
