Use steps of TDS meter
Step 1:press [TDS] button to turn on
Step 2:Put the tds meter insert into water
Step 3:When the TDS value become stable ,you can read the TDS value(ppm)

Cautions of TDS meter
1.After each test, pay attention to cleaning the probe.
2.Water sample temperature, probe cleanliness and air bubbles all affect
the determination of tds.
3.TDS meter can't test high tempreature (for example:boiling water).

Due to different production batches, the logo on the tds meter may be different, and the specifics are subject to the actual product received


Use steps of mineral meter
1.Before detection,press "on/off" key, if the first lamp corresponding to "0" is light up,it means that the TDS mineral meter is working .
2.Push"switch" key to "LO" side, the biggest reading correspongding to lighted yellow indicator on the side is the mineral content of the water.
If red indicator light up, then push "switch" key to "HI" side ,the biggest readout corresponding to yellow indicator on the right side is the mineral content of the water.
If red indicator light up at "HI" side,it means that mineral content of the water is above 400 ppm.

Cautions of mineral meter
Note:During testing, press and hold down "on/off" key until finish test.


Use steps of Electronic color comparator
1.Take the measured water sample, Dip the reagent, stir
2. Put the water sample into the test tube
3. Put the tube into the colorimeter
4. Turn on colorimeter switch
5. Insert the corresponding color card into the card slot
6. According to water sample color, contrast color card


Use steps of ph meter
1.Turn the meter on by pressing the “ON/OFF”key
2.Immerse the pH meter electrode in the solution to be tested(can not be over the immersion line)
3.when the pH value become stable you can read the pH value
4.After finished,clear the electrode with pure water,turn the meter off by pressing the “ON/OFF”key.


Instructions for use of various reagents


 Residual Chlorine Reagent         
Test item: Detection of residual chlorine
content in water
Usage:
1.Take 30ml water sample
2.Drip 3 or 4 drops of residual chlorine reagent into 20ml of water sample and shake well.
3. Compare the water colour with the colour chart, to get the residual chlorine value(ppm or mg/L).



 PH reagent                                  
Test item: Test the ph value of the water
Usage:
1.Take 30ml water sample
2.Drip 3 to 4 drops of PH reagent into the water sample and shake well
3.Compare the water colour with the colour chart,to get the PH value of the tested water.



 Phenolphthalein reagent           
Test item: Detection of PH value of 8.2-10 solution
Usage:
1.Take 50ml water sample
2.Dip 2-3 drops reagent in 50ml of water sample & shake well
3. The color changes to magenta, indicating that the ph of the water sample is between 8.2 and 10,and the colorlessness indicates that the ph of the water sample is not between 8.2 and 10.


 Total hardness reagent               
Test item: For the determination of total hardness in water
Usage:
1. Take 5 ml of water sample
2.Dip 1 drop and shake, water colour will be red. then add one more drop and shake, if the water colour still red add more drops and shake on every drop until the colour.
3.shake well until water color changed from red to blue, and remember the number of drops dropped in water.Calculation method: 1 drop = 1°fr


 Nitrite reagent                            
Test item: Used to detect nitrite content in water quality
Usage:
1. Take 5ml water sample
2.Dip 10 drops reagent in water sample & shake well & Wait 5 minutes
3.According to the color of the water sample, the color value can be obtained.


 Antioxidant reagent                    
Test item: Used to detect whether water has anti-oxidation function
Usage:
1. Take 20ml of water sample,Dip 2-3 drops of reagent
2. Yellow indicates that the water sample has been oxidized and has no anti-oxidation function
3. Colorless indicates that the water sample has antioxidant function.


 Bleach reagent                           
Test item: Increase chloride ion content in water samples
Usage:
1. Take 20ml water sample
2. Dip 2-3 drops residual chlorine reagent in water sample & shake well
3. when residual chlorine reagent can not detect residual chlorine,You can use dip1drop of bleach reagent. The water sample turns yellow, indicating that the residual chlorine reagent is effective.


 Mineral reagents                       
Test item: Test if the water contains mineral content
Usage:
1.Take 10ml of the tested water sample,
2.Dip 1-2 drops reagent in water sample & shake well
3. If the water sample shows magenta indicating have minerals, blue is mineral-free.


Phenolic / Phenol Blue reagent 
Test item: Used to detect weak acidity and alkalinity of water
Usage:
1.Take 10ml of the tested water sample,
2.Dip 1 drops reagent in water sample & shake well
3.If the water color is yellow, it is acidic (pH 6.0-6.5 value),Light yellowish is weakly acidic (pH 6.5-6.9),Blue is weakly alkaline (pH 7.0-7.9)


 Blue Ink / Industrial Contamination Reagents          
Test item: Check whether the water purifier can filter the pigment
Usage:
1.Take 50ml water sample
2.Dip 5 drops reagent in water sample & shake well
3.After filtering through the water purifier,the color of the water sample changes from blue to colorless.indicating the the water purifier can filter the pigment.


 Heavy metal reagent                 
Test item: Test whether there is heavy metal in water sample
Usage:
1.Take 20ml water sample
2.Dip 3-5 drops reagent in water sample& shake well
3. Red indicates that the water sample contains heavy metals, while yellow does not contain heavy metals.


 Calmagite reagent                    
Test item: Test whether the water sample contains calcium and magnesium ions
Usage:
1.Take 10ml water sample
2.Dip 1-2 drops reagent in water sample& shake well
3. The water sample turns purple red to indicate that it contains calcium and magnesium ions (having a certain hardness), and the blue color indicates that the water sample does not contain calcium and magnesium ions.


 Active water reagent               
Test item: Check whether the water sample is active water
Usage:
1.Take 30ml of water sample
2.Dip 5 drops of this reagent, stir for 3-5 seconds
3.If the water sample turns red, it is the original ecological water (active water). If the water sample turns yellow, it is non-original water (Not active water)


 Dissolved Oxygen Reagent     
Test item: Detection of dissolved oxygen content in water
Usage:
1.Take 10 ml of water sample,
2.Dip 5 drops (I) reagent in water sample & shake well ,
3.Dip 5 drops (II) reagent in water sample & shake well (Wait 5 minutes),
4.Dip 5 drops of reagent(III) and shake until the precipitate is dissolved. (If it is not dissolved, add the reagent until it is dissolved) count the number of drops.
5.The color of the water sample is compared with the color of the color card. Can know the content of dissolved oxygen.


 Ammonia Nitrogen Reagent   
Test item: Determination of total ammonia and amine salt concentrations in water samples (measured as nitrogen)
Usage:
1.Take 5ml of water sample
2.Dip 5 drops (I) reagent in water sample & shake well
3.Dip 5 drops (II) reagent in water sample & shake well
4. After standing for 5 minutes, visually compare with the standard color card from top to bottom. The color is similar, is the content of ammonia nitrogen in water(mg/L)
