Product features
YH-938A (new organic bentonite) is a kind of modified rheological additive with high efficency of easy to disperse, anti-sediment, high viscosity and thixotropy. It can used in low to medium polar system. YH-938A is equivalent to the following overseas products:
Bentonite SD-2, Claytone HY, Claytone APA.

YH-938A belongs to the unconventional type of organiclays group, being an easy-to-disperse, self-activated organiclay, YH-938A does not require a chemical (polar) activator to reach the proper level of delamination of the organiclay platelet stavks.
YH-938A can be add at any point in the manufacturing process. If addtion is made with polar activator or after grinding, better performance can be expected.
The amount of YH-938A rheological additive required depends upon the type of organic system and the degree of thickening or other properties desired. Addition levels are typically between 0.2~1.5% based on the total formulation weight.
Package and storage
The package consists of external (kraft paper bag) and internal package (polyethylene film bag) the valve bag is also available and the weight is usually 25Kg with 0.25Kg error, the package can also be customized, the package should be stored in dry place (at the temperature of 0~30 degree), the organic bentonite is effective within 36 months.
