BTA is white to light yellow needles, m.p. 98.5 deg.] C, boiling point 204 ℃ (15 mm Hg), slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, benzene, toluene, chloroform and other organic solvents.

BTA copper corrosion inhibitor can be adsorbed on the metal surface to form a thin film to protect copper and other metals from corrosion and atmospheric harmful media.

BTA is mainly used as rust-preventer, antifreezing liquid, antioxidant additive(including lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, brake oil, transformer's oil), emugent, water stabilizer, the additive for high molecular materials (polyester and polyesteramide) capacity of ultraviolet resistance and anti static electricity, photographic antifogging agent, copper mine flotation, metal's slow corrosion etc.

BTA is widely used in metal rust inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, BTA can be adsorbed on the metal surface, forming a very thin film, protect copper and other metals from the atmosphere and harmful medium corrosion.

BTA in the cooling water system with various scale inhibitor and biocide used in circulating cooling water system of good corrosion inhibition effect is good, UV absorber, UV sensitivity of products can play a stabilizing role, it is the intermediate dyes, pesticides, additives, the photosensitive material.

BTA as copper, silver anti tarnishing agent, metal cutting fluid, automobile cooling fluid, lubricating oil additives. It can also be used as coating and oil additive to prevent the discoloration and deterioration of the surface of metal products. It is applied to antifreeze and synthetic detergents, and has the functions of anti freeze, antisepsis and anticoagulation.

BTA can be used together with many scale inhibitors and fungi disinfectants in circulating cool water system.

First, BTA dissolved with alcohol or alkali, then added into circulating water system, the dosage of 2-10mg/L is preferred.

If the metal is badly corroded, 5-10 times of normal dosage should be expected.

BTA normally In 20kg, 25kg, non poisonous plastic sealed bag for inside , and paple-plastic multiple bag or cardboard barrel for outside or by customer's requirement.

BTA storage for ten months in room shady and dry place. Acidity, Avoid contact with eye and skin, once contacted, flush with water.
