Method of application:

 

1,Decide the type of blood collection tube and needle. Sterilize the stopper area which needs to be punctured.

 

2,Fix the vein and tie tourniquet according to different needs. Sterilize the skin.

 

3,Puncture the vein by the disposable needle. When blood appears, puncture the tube stopper by the needle's other side, then blood will flow into the tube.

 

4,When blood stops flowing in, extract the needle from the stopper (If more blood sample are needed, then puncture other blood collection tubes again). Untie the tourniquet and extract the needle from skin, then press partly to stop the blood.

 

5,Suggestion order if using various blood collection tubes:

 

   (1)Tubes without any additive.

 

   (2)Blood coagulation tube.

 

   (3)Other tubes containing additives

 

6,When using the blood collection tubes containing additives, it's better to turn it upside down and shake the tubes for 5-8 times to make the additives fully distributed into the blood sample.

 

7,If using Gel tubes without anticoagulant, the centrifugation process has be be made after blood fully coagulated (If tubes cantain coagulant, It's about 15-30 minutes. If not, it's 60-90 minutes. All need to be put vertically). Centrifugal speed should be 3500-4500rpm/min(Relative centrifugal force should no less than 1600gn), and centrifugal time should be 6-10 minutes.

 

8,The blood sample should be sent to be tested in time. Normally whole blood testing should be finished within 4 hours, while the other serum and plasma testing should begin centrifugal process as soon as possible. If not finished in time, they should be put under regulated temperature.

 

Cautions:

 

1.  Please do not use the tube if the tube's surface are damaged and the rubber stopper become flexible

 

2.  Please upside down the tube that contain anticoagulant additives 5 times-         8 times after drawed blood.in order to make the additives fully distributed into the blood sample. 

 

3. Please keep the tube upright that contain coagulant or separation gel additive.Centrifugal separation of blood serum can just be done after the blood coagulation completely.

 

4.  Please use the dedicated vacuum blood collection tube when at high elevation regions.Otherwise, it may cause blood drawing volume insufficient and effect the result of the test
