Cationic starch for paper pulp size from China Industrial grade

DM-933 cationic starch adopts wet & drying production methods ,based on tapioca or corn starch ,which is particularly used for different fiber layer of paper and paperboard making .

By chemical modified ,the viscosity is much better improved ,thus can strengthen the cementation of the two layers ,prevent from stripping in the process of printing ,improving the speed of paper and paperboard making .

1. Improve the retention ratio of  fibrill and paper filling  as well as drainage rate

2.Improve the physical strength of paper .Such as ,bursting strength ,tensile strength ,folding strength, tearing strength.

3. Reduce the value of  BOD and COD in white water ,relieve the pollution from "Three Wastes".

4.The dosage of DM series cationic starch is varied from different sizing agent ,paper machine condition and the effect of strength .Generally 0.6%-2.0% of the total solid content on wet part .

There are two preparation ways:

1.Batch cooking

Modulate the starch to slurry with pure water ,the concentration of starch should be within 2-5%,heat the starch slurry to 95℃±2℃ by direct steam ,keep 15-20 minutes under this temperature ,then pump into storage cylindars .Diluted by pure water to needed concentration then add to paper pulp while using .

2.Continuous  cooking

The cooking temperature can adjust to 100-130 ℃ ,the concentration of starch should be  within10-20% before boiling ,steam pressure should be within 5-10kg/m²
