1. DC series traction motor : As a walking machine, the motor has perfect mechanical property and speed regulation performance. Because of the strong overload capacity, it can bear 3 times overload current, and 4.5 times overload torque.
Besides, with the controller’s regulation, it can realize the step less smooth speed regulation, satisfy the heavy load vehicles to start, hill climbing and speed change movement on different roads, so it does not need to increase the gears.
2. DC separated traction motor The difference from series motor is to use controllers to control and adjust the field coil and the armature coil separately, and the motor still have perfect mechanical property and speed regulation performance. By increasing the controller’s set, it can realize the follow function: 1) To set speed limit running 2) To prevent backward slipping when uphill 3) To recycle energy using the regenerative braking principle when downhill and deceleration.
