Characteristics of RTV-2 Silicone Rubber for Making Candle Molds
Soap mold making silicone rubber has high temperature resistance, acid and alkali-resistance, aging resistance, favorable hardness, light viscosity, excellent liquidity, low shrinkage, favorable tensile-strength, no-deformation, good tear strength, easy-operation features.

Operation
1. Make sure the surface of the original is clean and free of loose material.
2. Weight 100g of Part A base and 3g of part B Curing Agent in a clean container.
Mix the silicone rubber and curing agent evenly.
3.Vacuum pumping
It will take less than 5 minutes
4. Pour the mixed Part A base silicone and curing agent as soon as possible
onto the original
5. Demoulding after 24 hours,it will improve the replicate times of silicone moulding.
FAQ
1.Why does the silicone mold appear to dry outside but wet inside?
Some molding silicone rubber is a kind of condensation cure silicone rubber, which would get solidified after absorbing moisture.
While in order to provide a significant shelf-life for the silicon rubber, we will dry out the water in the silicon rubber.
So when the humidness is lower than 50%, this would happen.
Solution: Add 0.1% water into the silicon rubber and Stir over a low speed briefly when you use it.
2.Why the silicone mould cured incompletely?
a. Inexact mixing ratio, didn’ t weigh the part A and hardner according to the standard ;
b. The silicone and catalyst have not been mixed evenly and totally.
We should pay attention to avoid this kind of problem, otherwise there will be a waste of silicone mold.
