3. The usage of iron bar bending machine
The profiles bending machine is a high efficiency equipment for bending profiles with various specifications, for example, channel steel, angle iron, H beam steel, I beam steel, flat steel, square tube, round and square pipe, can pre bend the end of profiles and bend to round, ring, arc, spiral work piece, once-forming, widely used in aerospace, petrochemical, hydropower, shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, and steel structure and so on.
4. Overview of machine structure and performance
4.1.1. Overview of structure
The profiles bending machine is a three roller arc downward structure. It composed of the machine body, side roller part, auxiliary device, main driving part, sensing device, mold parts, hydraulic parts, and electrical components etc. the machine body adopt plate steel structure, all mechanical parts are installed in the internal and external of machine body, constituting the main mechanical transmission part of machine. The main roller rotation is driven by hydraulic motor. Side rollers were driven by gear through hydraulic motor, to achieve the designed line speed and torque.
4. 1.2. Electric control system and hydraulic system are two independent parts, through pipes and electric wire connect with mechanical actuator, hydraulic system and electric control system can be put according to drawing, users can also move them to suitable position according to the workshop and technology operation.
4.1.3. The machine can be equipped with additional device (mold) according to the work piece precision requirement and different profiles.
4.2.1. The performance of the machine
The machine can pre bend the end of profiles, remaining straight edge is less than or equal to two times of the profiles width. All three working rollers are drive roller, and adopt the rolling friction; it is high efficiency, energy saving.
4.2.2. Main roller rotation is driven by the hydraulic motor through hydraulic system. Two side rollers(left roller and right roller) are driven by a hydraulic cylinders, rotating in arc line around the main roller, its function is profiles bending; moreover hydraulic system drive hydraulic motor, the hydraulic motor drive gear, the gear drive side rollers and chain, the chain drive main roller rotating with side rollers, its function is profiles bending and forming; the supporting roller can be lift up and down, moved forward and back, and rotated, all these movement were driven by hydraulic cylinder, supporting roller’s function is prevent profiles twisting during bending it, ensuring the accuracy of the work piece.
4.2.3. All movements of machine are driven by the hydraulic system, controlled by centralized electric control system, user operate machine through the button on the electric control cabinet.
4.2.4. Note: during the process of rolling, the user should not rotate three rollers and lift the supporting rollers at the same time, in order to avoid machine failure. After three rollers are installed with molds, supporting rollers can be lift up and down.
4.3. Profiles pre bending and bending
4.3.1. Profiles bending
Profiles bending has symmetric and asymmetric bending. (See Figure 4-1)
4.3.2. Symmetric bending: during bending process the side rollers and fixed main roller are in symmetrical state is called symmetric bending. The constancy of radius of curvature is very good, as a conventional bending mode.
4.3.3. Asymmetric bending: during bending process the side roller and fixed main roller are in asymmetric state, two movable side roller and the fixed main rollers are in asymmetrical state called asymmetric bending, which were mainly used to pre-bending the end or head of profiles.

4.4. three kinds of bending method:
Bending method 1(see figure 4 - 2)
Suitable for heavy-duty work piece, bending to a certain radian cut the remaining straight edge
Bending method 2 (Figure 4 - 3)
Suitable for small and middle section, or single work piece, must cut the corner of the profile before bending, the end bending adopts asymmetric way.
Bending method 4 (Figure 4 - 4)
Applicable to all kinds of profiles, the bending radius is bigger than the single work piece.

4.5. Profiles pre-bending and bending process
Move the right roller to lowest position, and then move the left roller to touch the work piece, and clamp the work piece with main roller.

Lift the right roller up, began to roll, and pre roll between left roller and main roller. (See figure 4-6)
Left roller fall, right roller rise, send the profile to left, three rollers began to roll profile. Pre roll between main roller and right roller. (See figure 4-7)
After finishing pre roll and roll, unload work piece, began to roll next profile. (See figure 4-8)

4.6. Bending range
The profiles bending machine can bend various profiles by replacing or adjusting mold.
Please refer to the basic parameters regarding various profiles bending size and range.
4.7. Profiles bending mold and mold combination
Profiles bending mold and mold combination is designed as per customer’s profiles; the type and specification of the bending section is different, the mold are different.
The numbers on mold diagram are same as the numbers on the mold, installing the mold as per number on mold diagram.
4.8. Overview of profiles bending
Various profiles bending method and bending process refer to figure 4-2 of profile bending, 4 - 3 of profiles pre-bending process.
4.8.1. Overview of flat, square steel bending
Flat and square steel are symmetric shape, easy bending, pre-bending adopts asymmetric bending, certain of twist are inevitable, if one or few times rolling, twist can be reduced, if the work piece was rolled many times, then, increasing the gap between molds is necessary.
4.8.2. The outward bending of angle steel
Angle steel is asymmetric profiles, which is twisted frequently during rolling, so it needs supporting roller to give an anti-deformation force to the angle steel to reduce and correct the deformation.
Supporting roller should be adjusted according to the deformation, preventing over adjustment causes angle steel outward twist. Pre bending adopts asymmetrical mode, bending adopts symmetrical mode.
Inward bending of angle steel
The inward and outward bending of angle steel are similar, angle steel would produce two direction of twist during rolling, so it need supporting roller and pulley to give an anti-deformation force to the angle steel to reduce and correct the twist. Supporting Roller and pulley should be adjusted according to the deformation. The angle steel would be twisted and produce deformation during it was curved inward, so the inward bending radius of angle steel would be bigger than other profiles’.
Symmetric adjustment:
Moving supporting roller and putting work piece to pulley, moving pulley, make the work piece can be bend directly, and supporting roller would hold the work piece after bending.
If moving the pulley too much, the work piece would be twisted inward.
Make sure the supporting roller and pulley were put in the right position as above method during the angle iron inward bending, until bend to the designed radius.
4.8.3. Overview of I beam, channel steel bending
The end of I beam and channel steel should be pre-bend in asymmetric way; I beam and channel steel should be bended in symmetric way. Regardless bending or pre-bending, the supporting roller should not be pressed too much during rolling, because the inner edge of I beam or channel steel would be twisted.
4.8.4. Overview of H steel vertical and horizontal bending
H steel vertical and horizontal bending is relatively easy, can be rolled according to the normal pre bending and bending process.

8.2 Seller should run and test machine in no-loading and loading condition, ensuring machine could work when supply power at buyer site.
