Vacuum hot pressing furnace application:

The vacuum hot pressing sintering furnace is batch type and heating methods include graphite heating, molybdenum heating and medium frequency heating. This sintering furnace is well-suited for hot pressure sintering of hard alloy, functional ceramic and powder metallurgy in high temperature and high vacuum/protective gas. The output products are highly compacted to prevent deformation. The crystal grain of nanometer materials can be restrained to grow.

Vacuum hot pressing furnace structure:

1. The furnace shell structure of hot-pressing furnace is vertical type, the outer layer adopts SUS304 stainless steel material, the inner layer made from the carbon steel, inner and outer cylinder with flange welded into a whole, between two layers can be water cooling, which can take the heat away from the inner wall of the furnace shell. The flange plane opened up seal groove, using the "O" ring vacuum seal, and design the water-cooling device (to prevent the high temperature result in aging "O" ring), there are pumping air hole, thermometer hole and observation hole on the middle of furnace.


2. Furnace body upper part is the furnace cover, it is made of (304) stainless steel within inside and outside end socket and flange (304 stainless steel )welded , adopts double water-layers end socket structure, between the double layers can be water cooling; Furnace cover is opened through mechanical manually, the built-in hydraulic press, open easily .The upper of furnace shell is capped with a pressure head (seaming chuck), pressure sensor and pressure device, and is equipped with deflation valve; On the furnace body is equipped with infrared thermometer hole and observation hole. 

 

3. The furnace bottom are equipped with electrode introduction devices, inlet gas valves, lower pressure head and sensors of travelling distance of pressure head and etc; The pressure head adopts SUS304 stainless steel with recycle cooling water.

 

4. The heating element use graphite. Three phases graphite heaters are connected with electrodes, which after transformer step-down, connected to three extraction electrodes by copper line to form a control loop. All electrode devices are recycle water cooling.

1. The hydraulic system was composed by electric hydraulic machine, overflow valve, magnetic exchange valve, hydraulic oil cylinder and fixed frame. The hydrocylinder equipped at the middle of furnace pedestal. The hydraulic oil went into the cylinder through electric hydraulic system, overflow valve and magnetic exchange valve, then lifting the cylinder, which can achieve the pressure adjustable and holding function. The pressure auto-adjustment function can be achieved through setting intelligent digital program meter according to the customer’s technical requirement. The pressure and replacement all displayed by digital meter and also have over pressure alarming and safety locking function.

 

2. The fixed frame was composed by bar, pedestal, long pillar and furnace shelf.

 

1. Power is controlled by low voltage transformer and SCR(Silicon Controlled Rectifier).380V 3 phases power is reduced to 30V by through step-down transformer, then up to electrode by cable. This system includes the function of soft start, soft turn off, constant current, over current protection, etc.

 

2.Temperature controlling is by PID Digital automatically,50 programmable segments for precise control of heating rate, cooling rate and dwell time. It also can be controlled by manual operation.

 

3. Under the condition of working, the whole furnaces own low water pressure, over temperature, over current automatic interlock and alarm, protecting cut down power function. The alarm is the way of voice and light.

 

vacuum system

 

The vacuum system is made up of one 2X-70 mechanical pump with vacuum differential pressure valve(to avoid oil vapor go into chamber), one KT-300 diffusion pump with cold trap. Ø200mm pneumatic high vacuum flapper valve. Ø50mm pneumatic butterfly valve, inflation valve(protective atmosphere Ar,N2), deflation valve and vacuum pressure gauge. The vacuum pipe and pump were connected with metallic bellows (to slow down shakiness), and the vacuum is measured by digital compound gauge.

 

water cooling system

 

1.The cooling water entered into the header pipe, then went into furnace shell, furnace cover, furnace bottom, electrode, pressure head up and down, mechanical pump, diffusion pump etc through every branch pipes, then collected to cooling cabinet. The cooling water is adjustable by the hand valve in each cooling pipe. There is a pressure gauge on the inlet water pipe. The sound-light alarming will be active and heating power will be cut off when the water pressure lower than setting value.

 

2. Outlet pipe pressure ≥1.5kg, inlet pipe diameter 2.5 inches, outlet pipe diameter 2.5 inches.
