This is so bright. If you own a business such as I do (ThreadTheoryLLC8295 on FB), then this is the thing for you. We make all kinds of stuff, but specialise in Decals. This has been a life saver when weeding my decals. I can not say enough about this light box. It is super bright. It comes with its own charger and charging cord. It can be plugged into the wall or a usb. It has saved me many mistakes when weeding. I have also used it to trace some patterns for sewing. Its very thin and light weight, but not so thin that Im scared it will break. I have dropped it several times on the carpet and it has no damage. I DO NOT recommend dropping it, but accidents do happen. All the LED's in it are lit up. Its so bight it can actually be used as a night light lol. Will be buying a couple more for our employee's. Thanks for making a great product that saves me hours of work:)

Wow, how times have changed. When I was in high school, I had a big bulky light table that I had to carry around with me whenever I had a project to do. Fast forward to decades later, out came this nice, sleek light box that is a fraction in weight/bulkiness. I received this on Saturday and I am loving it!! It gives me three levels of brightness and I find it to be so much better than the old bulky models. Another PLUS: Because of the sleekness of this light box, my drawing arm is able to rest in line with the table (with the older model, because of it being so much thicker, my arm would be suspended in mid-air and it gets tiring to draw that way).

Years have gone by passing up opportunities to buy light-boxes because they've always been so dang expensive, so I would just rig something up for the project at hand. But I finally found this light pad! Holy smokes, all I had to spend was $25 and I got what I've always wanted, but better! It weighs far less than a spiral notebook, at around the same size, so it's perfect for my lap, travel bags, and the bookshelf. Also, I've always detested overhead lights or book lights when I'm working late into the night writing and correcting drafts, so this is a perfect surface and lighting arrangement for that! The technology used to make this light-pad is so simple and so logical, it's amazing to think that I ever wanted one of those clunky and hot light-boxes. I was able to spare myself A LOT of money, space, electricity and creative stagnation with this gadget. Seriously awesome.

Elegant little light table. Goes from soft light to blaring with the tap of one's finger. Minimal depth so works well on standard desk without the height of a standard light table. NOT A CUTTING SURFACE.

Item comes with a USB connector, which for me was inconvenient because I do traditional art as well and wanted it for my drafting table and to use in other rooms. Had to get a wall plug adapter and that took a wee bit of time to research.

Anyhow, I'm all set up and looking forward to productivity.

For me this is a great size since most of art is smaller than US legal paper so it's great for my work. It's easy to store because it's so thin and the cord that comes attached is long enough so that if I decide to use my laptop as it's source it can be a good ways away from me and still connect to the light box. The 3 light settings I don't really use I just go for the last setting and I've used it at most for an hour and half and it doesn't get hot on me or shut off.
