The USB 2.0 Extreme extenders represent a significant milestone in the USB market supporting USB 2.0 peripheral devices at speeds up to 480 Mb/s over a distance of 100m/330 ft, doubling the extension distance of 50m/165ft of the previous generation. Powered by Extreme USB technology, the USB 2.0 supports a single device port. These USB extenders require AC power (included) at the Remote Extender (REX) end. Additionally an optional the Local Extender (LEX) power supply is available for USB ports that cannot provide the required 500mA current.
This USB extender allows you to conquer the 5 Meter USB length limitation. Using inexpensive network cables, this extender provides the simplest and most economic way to extend the distance of a USB device up to 300ft.
