1 Q: what’s the screen ?can the backlight be changed to anther color ?
A: it is TN LCD screen. backlight is green and cannot be changed to other colors.
2 Q：can the speed unit be MPH
A : no.it is only KPH unit. If you need MPH also,pls check DO908 dash.
3 Q: can the pressure unit be Bar？
A: no,it is only PSI unit.If you need BAR also,pls check DO908 dash.
4 Q: can the temperature be Fahrenheit(℉)
A: no,it is only Celsius (℃).If you need ℉ unit also,pls check DO908 dash.
5 Q: can i install it to motorcycle sports ?
A:no,you can check DO908 dashboard which is waterproof.
6 Q: what’s the sensor screw thread size ?can i use our own sensors?
A: ZG 1/8 .all our sensors have same screw thread size . pls use our sensors in stead of yours original.
7 Q: can this dash be used on Carburetor / carbonated engine without ECU?
A:yes. There’s two way to get RPM signal :1-ECU , 2- Distributor Negative .
Two ways to get speed signal :1- ECU,2- Sensor(speed sensor/ABS sensor) .
so if there’s no ECU, RPM signal connect to distributor - , and add an speed sensor or ABS sensor extra by yourself to get speed signal.Details pls check connection instruction.
8 Q: how to get AFR signal .i find there’s no AFR sensor inside.
A: connect AFR signal wire to your cars Oxygen sensor (narrow band ,0-1v),we dont offer AFR sensors inside .
9 Q: why the speed value only be 255 always .
A: make sure vehicle speed calibration should be confirm at 40 km/h (mph) , too slow will be mistake.
10 Q:There are three spare sockets of the DPU ,can i use these for other functions ?
A: no , pls let these sockets spare . these spare sockets are designed for other dashboards.
11 Q:why my dash cannot read RPM ,the revs/tacho is joined directly to the ecu wire .the ECU outputs a pulsing negative signal .
A: our dash only can read positive signal .but you can add an resistor on this to supply the rev wire with positive supply . more details you can contact us further .
12 Q: my car engine have no ECU , can i get the revs from crankshaft sensor ?
A: sorry , the RPM reads will not be accuracy . because the pulsing signal from crankshaft sensor is much higher than the ECU.if there’s no ECU , you can join it to distributor negative .
13 Q:can it do with CAN ,BUS ?
A: No .
14 Q：Why the RPM BAR is unstable .it goes top suddenly and is back soon .
A: usually ,r.p.m signal is suggested joining ECU .this situation will be happened some times when r.p.m joined to ignition negative .so you should add an TACH ADAPTER into car circuit ,to avoid the disturb .
