Installation of Samsung DA29-00003G:

1. Remove the old cartridge first by slowly turning the cartridge  1/4 to the left and remove.

2. Apply the month sticker to the cartridge as a reminder to replace the filter within 6      months and remove the red cap.

3. Align unlabeled side of the filter with the indicator line so that it can be inserted into  the filter cover.Turn the cartridge 1/4 turn to the right to lock it into place. You will feel  a stop and the locked symbol should now be lined up with the indicator line.

4. Run water through the dispenser for 5 minutes to purge the system. When the water  filter is replaced reset the indicator by pressing the Ice Type button and the Child Lock button simultaneously for 3 seconds or by pressing Only Ice Type button for 3 seconds.

5. Open the refrigerator door and check the filter area for leaks.
