The trommel screen  is widely applied in the preliminary classification process of beach resources and alluvial gold mining, as well as in the effective screening and looseness process of the alluvial gold ore with high viscosity clay by cooperating with the rotary scrubber or log washer.

 

This is the model YGT1550 mobile trommel screen which is applied in Zambia for river alluvial gold recovery. The dredger transports the raw materials from the river to the trommel screen. The grizzly on the feeding hopper would remove the oversizes. +6mm materials are delivered away as waste, while -6mm materials are delivered to the centrifugal concentrator for enrichment.
