1, Characters: 

 

Bone powder refers to the raw material made of raw material powder. 

Crude bone meal and steamed bone eaml are about calcium 23% and 30%, 10% and 14.5% of phosphorus, can be used for livestock mineral feed, pool quality can be used as fertilizer. 

 

2, Basic introduction :

 

A powdered product made from bone as a raw material. Can be used for livistock minerals, poor quality can be used as fertilizer. Bone powder can be divided into bone meal ( crude bone meal ), degummed bone meal (steamed bone meal ) and degreased bone meal three. 

 

The crude bone meal and the steamed bone meal were about 23% caclium and 30% calcium, 10% and 14.5% respectively. 

 

Bone powder is generally gray powder, insoluble in water, plant use is very slow, especially in the calcareous soil, but in acid soil is faster. Can be used as base fertilizer. Mixed with compost or manure after fermentation application, can improve fertilizer efficiency.

a, Rich minerals 

    

Bone powder is rich in minerals, the most important is the hydroxyapatite crystal and amorphous calcium hydrogen phosphate . in its surface also adsorbed Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, Cl-, HCO-,F- and Citrate plastma. More importantly, the abundant Ca and P in the bone meal is a constant mineral element necessary for the human body, and their ratio ( Ca:P=2:1) is the best proportion of calcium and phosphoruse absorbed in the body. 

 

b, High quality protein 

 

Bone powder contains 12.0%-35.0% of the protein, which is the highest content of collagen fibers constitute the collagen.

 

c, Reasonable fatty acid ratio

 

Bone powder contains a reasonable proportion of fatty acids, the main saturated fatty acids are palmitic acid and stearic acid, unsaturated fatty acids are oleic acid and linoleic acid. The ratio of saturated fatty acids to unsaturated fatty acids is close to 1:1, which is consistent with the recommended composition of fatty acids in the Nutrition Society. In adddition, the bone meal also contains trace amounts of fatty acids such as myristic acid(14:10), cardamole oleic acid (14:1), palmitoleic acid (16:1), and linolenic acid (18:3).

 

d, Other nutrients

 

Bone powder also contains brain tissue development indispensable phospholipids, phosphoproteins and is believed to have enhanced subcutaneous cell metabolism, to prevent aging of chondroitin, collagen.
