Introduction:

1.4462 duplex stainless steel plate

Duplex 2205 duplex stainless steel alloy is 22% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, and 4.5% of nickel, nitrogen alloyed stainless steel. 2205 is characterised by:
1.high mechanical strength – roughly twice the proof strength of austenitic stainless steels.
2.physical properties that offer design advantages.
3.good weldability.
4.high resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing environments and in environments containing hydrogen sulphide.
5.high resistance to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion.
6.high resistance to erosion corrosion and corrosion fatigue.


Applications:

Alloy duplex 2205 Stainless Steel is used in a wide variety of home and commercial applications, including:

Chemical processing,transport and storage-pressure vessels,tanks,piping,and heat exchangers.
Oil and gas exploration and processing equipment-piping,tubing,and heat exchangers.
Marine and other high chloride environments.

Packing & Delivery

Packing for 1.4462 duplex stainless steel plate as below:

Packing Details : Standard export seaworthy packing (with waterproof paper, metal belt pack sheet, then put them in wooden pallet, then put in container) or customized.

Delivery Details : 3-5days normally.

1. Materials for packaging
(a)angle bars:
(b)Function:Angle bar have very good protection to be used for fixed the four side edge of the steel plate and preventing the damages of loading and unloading process.

2. Materials for packaging
(a):plywood
(b)Function:at the top of each wooden pallet will be put a whole piece of plywood to protect the stainless steel sheet surface keeping smooth,no scratch,and in good condition.

3. Complete package(2.5T max.)
Products are packed and labeled according to the regulations and customer's request.
Grate car is taken to avoid any damage which might otherwise be caused during transportation.
