Test principle of product: USB Type-C adds DisplayPort (DP) and Power delivery(PD) feature, in addition to USB 3.1 basic data transmission function. It can serve as USB Host, USB-PD Power consumer, and DP video source. TC-1605 tester embedded the DP adapter chip and USB-PD 2.0 controller chip, can support DP 1.2 and PD 2.0 protocol specification. The tester can covers basic USB function testing, DP video resolution and audio detection, PD charging and plug orientation twist detection, so as to fully implement USB Type-C function testing.

 

1. Support Windows 7, Windows 8.0& 8.1, Windows 10 bit OS;

2. Support USB 3.0 & USB 2.0, DP 1.2 and PD 2.0 spec;

3. Support the DP Alternate Mode, maximum support 2K /4K resolution and 2Lane /4Lane mode detection;

4. Support USB PD 2.0 spec and power delivery can support 5V at 3A, 9V at 3A, 12V at 3A, 15V at 3A and 20V at 3A;

5. Support USB VBUS detection and current loading test, up to maximum 5V at 3A loading test;

6. Support USB3.0 and USB2.0 auto-detection, compatibility with general USB3.0 /USB2.0 host controller;

7. Test items cover VBUS detection, current loading test, USB data transmission test, DP and PD function test, etc.
