Installation of Polyester Fiber Acoustic Panel

1. Setting
Setting and adjust the polyester acoustic panel to certain shape on the workshop.
2. Chamfering
Both mechanical or hand-cut are alright, recommend to use steel ruler if you decide to cut by hand and it would be better to use imported art blade.
3. Cutting
We have special chamfering tool to chamfer various bevel edge.
4. Installation
We mainly use glue such as spray glue, hot melt adhesive, white glue, glass glue, etc. (according to different surface) to stick acoustic panels onto the wall. For flat cement wall, we may install the boards directly with white glue and gun nail, which is glue-saving and time-saving.

7. What are the factors of influencing the NRC?

Perforation rate, gap between the wall and panel, the density and thickness of the glass wool, etc. All these factors will effect NRC.

8. What’s the difference between normal panel and acoustic panel?

Acoustic panel also called soundproof panel which is designed according to the law of soundproofing. There are mainly three functions of acoustic panel. Sound absorbing, sound diffusing and sound insulation, with respect to a specified sound source and receptor: increasing the distance between source and receiver, using acoustic panel to reflect or absorb the energy of the sound waves, using damping structures such as acoustic panel, or using active antinoise sound generators.
