Over the years, we have strived to promote Safe Patient handling programs which reduce the risk of work related injuries for healthcare workers, prevent occurrence of secon injury and fall for patients while improving the quality of patient care. Safe Patient Handling programs employ the use of mechanical equipment and devices and thus reduce the occurence and severity of work related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). GUMT research and development team was set up in 2008, specializing in design and development of Safe Patient Handling & Fall Prevention related assistive devices.

In order to improve the life quality and improve the independent living ability for elderly/patients/disabled, our RD team collaborates closely with leading universities in Taiwan to continuously update the state-of-art technology. We also work closely with CSPHA to acquire most updated international regulations and recommendations for Safe Patient Handling in order to develop user-friendly products along with top quality yet affordable price. We are also committed to green technology, with this, our R&D & manufacturing process are executed cautiously for environmental protection.
