R-404a is a non-ozone depleting compound designed to serve as a long-term alternative to R-22 and R-502 in commercial refrigeration systems. R-404a is a suitable refrigerant for retrofits or new installations including supermarket freezer case, reach-in cooler, display case, transportation refrigeration, ice making machine and storage facility.
