Our fiber laser unit is the IPG, Raycus or Max and that system starts from $50,000 (US price)--a worthy investment for such a powerful piece of machinery!
The cost of our various laser systems is determined by power (500w, 800w, 1000w, 1500w, 2000w,etc.), cutting table size, and foundation (cutting sheet, or pipe, or both).
2. Can I make money with the laser?

3. How long does it take to learn to use the laser?
If you know how to use graphic design software, you can be up and running in minutes! There is no difficult software to learn as the operation software is so easy.
It will take a bit of trial and error to learn what speed and power settings to use with different materials, but we include a comprehensive guide with your system that has recommended speed and power settings for various materials with which you will be working.
4. What types of graphics can I cut ?
To cut, you will need a vector based graphic, such as an .dxf or .dwg file.
5.Can GYC's lasers cut metal?
Yes! Our fiber laser machine is special and professional for cutting metallic materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, mild steel, alloy steel, silicon steel, galvanized sheet, etc.
6. Do I need separate laser systems for engraving and cutting?
No, one laser does it all! Our fiber laser systems will engrave and cut the metallic materials, as well as cut coated metals. The laser knows what portions to engrave and what portions to cut based on the setting, which is easily set in the operation software.
7.With what software are the laser systems compatible?
You can design your files in many different graphic software packages including CorelDraw, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and much more. CorelDraw is the most commonly used software, but the laser works with many different packages.
