Product Description
micronized polypropylene wax usually have highe melt point and hardness. Micronized PP waxes can improve the performance of abrasion and anti blocking, when added into painting or inks and powder coating. Different polypropylene wax can usually used as matting agent, degassing agent, anti-slip, anti-adhesion, hardening agent etc.

Characteristics and Purposes
Ø PPW-0931 has uniform particle size and shape, high melting point, good transparency, and can be easily dispersed. PPW-0931 is suitable for solvent-based coating; improves scratch resistance, and blocking resistance to higher temperatures.
Ø PPW-0931 has synergistic effect, helps to prevent the precipitation of the silica matting. When used with silica, the silica and polypropylene wax proportion is about 1:1 to 4:1.
Ø When added to the powder coatings, PPW-0931 helps improve the powder coatings hardness, and the scratch resistance. It also improves the wear performance, and can assists in matting of powder coatings.

Contents and Methods of Use
Ø In a variety of systems, the additional amount of the micronized wax is generally between 0.5 to 3%.
Ø Usually by way of a direct high-speed stirring, it dispersed in solvent-based coatings and printing inks.Ø It can be added through the use of a variety of grinding machines, high-shear dispersing device, and the use of grind mill. Must pay attention to the control of the temperature.For a pre-dispersing treatment, a concentration of 20-30% wax dispersion can be performed first. It is added into the system when needed, thus reducing the time of wax dispersion.
