What is PE coated paper?
PE coated paper is the composite material that plastic particles are coated on the surface of paper through casting film machine. The main characteristric is waterproof, greaseproof and heat sealable.
Material Structure:
1. single side film: base paper+PE
2. double side film: base paper+PE+base paper
base paper+PE+other materials (CPP, non-woven fabrics, BOPP, PET, woven-fabrics etc)
Base paper: all kinds of paper, such as Food paper, white/ brown Kraft paper, Art paper, Offset
paper, LWC paper etc.
The paper can divide into three grade: normal grade, food grade, medical grade.
Usually, the weight of base paper is 15-200gsm. PE is 7-32gsm, matt or glossy, single or double side coating.
Usage:
Different usage uses different grams of paper. One type of food can be packaged in several kinds of paper. At the same time, one type of paper has many uses.
