Camera remote ZOOM controller for Sony A7S II

Compatibility:

The Sony A7 A9 A6000 series and other MULTI interface cameras are compatible. Please check the < MULTI interface camera compatible list> in bottom of description for more camera, Sony start to use the multi interface instead of the standard LANC interface from 2014 and need to control the camera with Sony RM-VPR1 or JJC SR-F2 remote controller. Theoretically, the LanParte remote controller can work for cameras which can be controlled by Sony RM-VPR1 or JJC SR-F2 remote controller. You can buy the extra Lanc interface reciver to control if you have the Lanc interface camera.

Battery power:

The transmitter uses two pcs AAA battery. It can work for about 6 months with two pcs AAA battery. The receiver is with no battery inside. It gets power from camera itself..

Indicator light:

Both the transmitter and receiver come with the indicator light for indicating the status of signal transferring and battery power.

Pairing Method:

The transmitter and receiver are paired before shipping. You can follow the step below to re-pair them.

1.Installing batteries for transmitter (If the batteries are correctly installed, the indicator light will blink once the button is pressed)

2. Pressing “(REC)Start/Stop” and “Photo(shutter)” button on transmitter at the same time until the light blinks red. Then connecting the receiver with the camera as indicated when the camera is power on. (*Please connect the recevier when transmitter lights on) The light on the receiver will blink blue to enter into pairing status and the light will stop blinking upon completion. Finally, the controller is ready for operation.

“Photo (shutter)”button

Half press for focusing, full press for shooting

“W(wide) & T(Tele)” button

For camera zooming, applicable for some power zoom lens

“Camera power” button

For switching off the camera screen,

“(REC) Start / Stop” button:

For recoding start and stop

Pairing steps for one-to-many control (For transmitters to control more than one receiver):

1.    Pair the receiver for the first camera as the Pairing Method mentioned.

2.    Take the reviver off from the first camera.

3.    Pair the receiver for the second camera as the Pairing Method mentioned. Please make sure the parameters are set to be consistent for each camera.

4.    Start using the transmitter to control all the cameras.

Q: Which receiver of the remote controller is compatible with my camera?

A: If your camera is SONY camera with MULTI interface, please choose the MULTI receiver. If your camera is LANC interface or Panasonic remote interface, please choose the LANC receiver.

Q: How far is the remote control distance?

A: In the open environment, the remote controller can control about 30 meters. If there is interference around, especially the 2.4G source or obstruction, the actual remote control distance will be shortened.

Q: What battery is used to power?

A: The transmitter uses two pcs AAA battery to power. Sony receiver is without battery and Panasonic receiver use one piece 3.7V Li-ion battery.

Q: Can a transmitter control multiple receivers to work?

A: Yes, you need to pair the transmitter individually with multiple receivers. Please note that the time code between each camera is not as accurate as the professional time code controller because of the wireless transmission, so the product can’t be used as a code device.

Q: Why can’t my GH5 zoom?

A: Only the M4/3 mount lens with “power zoom” words can use the zoom function.
