In terms of a middle-small cit, the production of waste engine oil of various cars,agricultural vehicle and other machineries is about 1000Ton, add the amount of waste oil from refining company,chemical factory, Fertilizer Plant and Coking factory, the total amount is prodigious. If we deal these waste
engine oil by burning or burying, it is not only bring serious environmental pollution, also caused a huge waste of energy. So on the basis of reusing resources or environmental protection, or view the point of being able to bring enormous economic benefits for the producers, the waste oil for recycling has a very good prospects.

Feasibility Of Waste Motor Oil Cracking to Diesel Oil

There are two ways to manage the spent lube oil, the first is recycle it into lube base oil, and another method is crack it in to fuel.The same technology however that distills motor oil from crude oil is essentially the same technology that distills used oil into diesel fuel. The process to re-refine used motor oil is easier than refining crude oil.

After cracking and cooling, about 2-5%% liquid is gasoline . Approx 85-90% liquid is similar to diesel and able to meet the specification of -15# diesel. They’re able to be used as industrial or civil-use fuel, even power driven fuel. How to Crack Waste Motor Into Diesel Fuel Oil

Oil can be used in many different products, and this is because of its composition of many different hydrocarbons of different sizes, which are individually useful in different ways due to their different properties. The purpose of a refinery is to separate and purify these different components. Most refinery products can be grouped into three classes: Light distillates (liquefied petroleum gas, naphtha, and gasoline), middle distillates (kerosene and diesel), and heavy distillates (fuel oil, lubricating oil, waxes, and tar). While all of these products are familiar to consumers, some of them may have gained fame under their refined forms.

Cracking is a petroleum refining process in which heavy-molecular weight hydrocarbons are broken up into light hydrocarbon molecules by the application of heat and pressure, with or without the use of catalysts, to derive a variety of fuel products. Cracking is one of the principal ways in which used oil is converted into useful fuels such as motor gasoline, diesel fuel and home heating oil.

Cracking breaks carbon-carbon bonds to turn heavier hydrocarbons into lighter ones. This can occur thermally (as occurs during the petroleum formation process beneath the earth) or through the action of a catalyst

The heating methods are optional with electric heaters,  oil ,gas, coal fueled boilers ect..fuel consumption

Process

1.Start the waste oil pump, Pump the waste oil into the distillation kettle, and then turn on the heating system.

2 While heating, start the stirring device inside of distillation kettle. This will help to improve thermal conduction of waste oil, then waste oil can be evenly heated in the distillation kettle. Because waste oil has much colloid, bitumen, free carbon, heavy metal and other substances, so stirring oil can effectively prevent these substances coking, and blocking distillation apparatus and pipes.

3 by our Yellow Diesel Oil Producing Processing Plant for Waste Mineral Lube Oil ,When the temperature reaches to 50 ℃, gasoline components in the used oil can be gradually distilled out, and be cooled by water and gasoline condenser, then we will get extensive gasoline liquid. When the oil temperature reaches to 100 ℃,water in the used oil begins to be distilled out, water vapor will be cooled by the water and gasoline condenser, then we can collect water liquid,The cooled water and gasoline liquid will enter into the gasoline collecting tank. Because the density of water and gasoline is much different, so they will automatically stratification, then drain water, and filter gasoline,at last we can get the finished gasoline.

5 by Yellow Diesel Oil Producing Processing Plant for Waste Mineral Lube Oil ,With the gradual increase temperature of waste oil, the light components of waste oil will be distilled out and through the efficient catalytic system, which can further catalytic cracking these light components, then gets diesel oil vapor, finally we can get diesel oil liquid after these diesel oil vapor be cooled by diesel oil condenser.

6 by our machine Yellow Diesel Oil Producing Processing Plant for Waste Mineral Lube Oil  ,When the oil temperature reaches to 260 ℃, the heavy components inside used oil will be distilled out and become oil vapor, then go through the efficient catalytic system, which can further catalytic cracking these oil vapor, after cracking these oil vapor will enter a catalytic converter by adding certain amount of additives. Pump these oil vapor back into the efficient catalytic system and let be cracked and catalyzed again.So that we can get higher quality diesel oil vapor, finally we can get the diesel oil liquid after these vapor be cooled by diesel oil condenser.

7 Finally, we filter all collected diesel oil liquid, then we can get high quality finished diesel oil.

8 When temperature reaches about 410℃, start residue oil pump, pump out the oil residue from distillation kettle. The residue oil can be used as heavy fuel oil.
