 Piston rings,mounted on the pistons if lubricated or non-lube(oil free) compressor ,are designed to ensure that the gas is compressed and to provide a seal between the piston and the cylinder.The piston ring is an essential part of a reciprocating compressor, as it enable the requested or required performance in terms of flow rates and pressures to be achieved.

 About PEEK Material

 

   We use VICTREX PEEK material as priority. PEEK is a high performance engineering thermoplastic which is short forPolyEtherEtherKetone.

  Properties of PEEK  includes high temperature performance, excellent wear properties, superior chemical resistance and outstanding toughness and strength etc.It also has excellent deformation under load characteristics, a high flexural modulus, and exhibits low smoke and toxic gas emissions when exposed to a flame.

  PEEK is used in some of the toughest plastic applications that require the tightest tolerances. These include medical device parts, medical implants, structural applications, ultra-high vacuum applications, valve seats, pump gears, high purity seals, electrical connectors, screws, impellers, wear blades, lab equipment, analytical equipment, columns, cable insulation, and more.
We also add other materials to enhance some properties of PEEK.
