CAN Bus Transceiver Communication Module SN65HVD230

SN65HVD230 can be used in high interference environment. The device has a good ability to send and receive at different rates, the main features are as follows:

Fully compatible with ISO11898 standard;
High input impedance, allowing 120 nodes;
Low current wait mode, the typical current is 370 mu A;
Signal transmission rate up to 1Mb/s;
With thermal protection, open circuit failure protection function;
With anti instant interference, the function of the protection of the bus;
Slope control to reduce radio frequency interference (RFI);
Differential receiver, with a wide range of common mode interference, electromagnetic interference (EMI) capacity.

SN65HVD230 has 3 different modes of operation, high speed, slope and waiting. Its work mode control can be achieved through the Rs control pin. Figure 2 is a typical application of SN65HVD230 in CAN bus system. From the figure can be seen, the CAN controller output pin Tx to the data input end of D SN65HVD230, can be transmitted to send the data to the CAN node in CAN network; and the CAN controller receives the pin Rx and SN65HVD230 data output terminal is connected to the R, for receiving data. SN65HVD230 select the port connected via Rs and one end of the grounding resistor jumper slope, by hardware can be realized in 3 working modes, the slope is 0 ~ 100k resistor potentiometer.
