        The thermocouple is made up of two different components (called thermocouple wire or thermoelectric pole). The two ends are connected to the synthetic loop. When the temperature of the two junction points is different, the electromotive force is generated in the loop. This phenomenon is called thermoelectric effect, and this electromotive force is called the thermal potential. The thermocouple is used to measure temperature of this principle, which is directly used for measuring the temperature of a medium called the working end (also known as the measuring end), the other end is called the cold end (also known as the end of the cold end compensation); and display instrument or meter display connection, thermoelectric instrument that produces thermocouple.
The thermocouple is actually an energy converter, which converts heat energy into electric energy, and uses the thermoelectric potential to measure the temperature. For the thermoelectric potential of thermocouple, we should pay attention to the following problems.
1: the thermocouple's thermoelectric potential is the difference between the temperature function of the two ends of the thermocouple, and not the temperature difference between the cold end and the working end of the thermocouple.

3: when the components of the two thermocouple wires of the thermocouple are determined, the size of the thermoelectric potential of the thermocouple is only related to the temperature difference of the thermocouple. If the temperature of the cold junction of the thermocouple is kept constant, the thermoelectric force of the thermocouple is only a single value function of the working temperature. The conductor or semiconductor A and B of two different materials are welded together to form a closed loop. When there is a temperature difference between the two persistent points 1 and 2 of conductor A and B, the electromotive force is generated between them, so that a size current is formed in the loop, which is called thermoelectric effect.
