HIGH MW ANIONIC POLYACRYLAMIDE WATER TREATMENT POLYMER FLOCCULANT
Polyacrylamide, abbr. PAM, is a kind of water soluble polymer, has unique effect to increase the viscosity of water or to promote the flocculation of particles present in water, it can also reduce the frictional resistance between the liquid.
According to the different ion characteristics, PAM has three types: Anionic PAM, Cationic PAM and Nonionic PAM.
It is widely used in many fields like Water Treatment, Oil Exploration, Sludge Dewatering, Paper Making, Textile, Sugar Making, Coal washing and Incense Making, etc.

>> Mechanism
The amide group (-CONH2) of Polyacrylamide can be compatible with many substances, the formation of hydrogen bond can absorb suspension particles to form "bridging" thus to make flocculation structure enlarge and thicken, to accelerate the particles sedimentation to speed up the clarification of the solution and promote filtration.

Recommended products for different water treatment
>> Municipal Wastewater
In the first stage of processing urban sewage, usually add inorganic coagulants for pretreatment, then add Anionic PAM and Cationic PAM to enhance flocculation efficienc and reduce small particles in water and promote sludge dewatering.

>> Industrial Wastewater
High organic or acidophilic effluent:
Cationic PAM, Non-ionic PAM;
High suspended solids or alkaline effluent:

>> Raw Water Treatment
Raw water contains the large amounts of suspended solids. Therefore,it is usually pretreated by using an inorganic flocculant, and then add Anionic PAM for flocculating and purifying.

>> Direction for use：
1. Usually the product is prepared into solution of 0.1%-0.3% (W/W), with dosage range of 0.1-10 ppm (0.1-10mg/L)in target water according to type of effluent and application.
2. Targeted at different purposes, choose the best quantity of reagent via jar test to evaluate the functioning and approximate dosage.
Better flocculation, faster sedimentation.
Handling, Storage and Shelf life:
Handling : Minimise dusting of product.
Storage : Store the powder in cool, dry conditions avoiding humid and wet areas.
Shelf life: 2 years on recommended storage condition.
Packing and loading quantity
In 25kg craft paper bag with PE inner liner or in 25kg PE bag with blue mouth, or 750kg big bag.
20-21mt/20'fcl on pallet, or 15-18mt/20'fcl no pallet.
