Working principle:
The EPS melter CF-HM400 use two shaft crushing blades, two parallel blade shafts symmetrically fixed with blade ,the blade on the two blade shafts is dislocation arrangement, and the blade of each shaft is evenly arranged in the axis of the knife with arithmetic point of view in the same direction. The first blade and the last blade of each shaft has a 90°angle。
When the two shaft crushing blades are working,two parallel blade shafts with different rotation direction begin to rotate, form a wave down the grip, so that the material constant downward movement, after going through the cutting blade, and broken into smaller blocks of matter .
The two shaft crushing blades in the EPS hot melting machine can broke the EPS material into small blacks and go through the screen. The material that can’t go through the screen will be crushed again, and finally go through the screen. The material will be sent by the high speed rotary screw to the heating barrel. The screw of the main machine can convey and heat the material to melt condition, then extrude them into a cube mould ,when the mould if full of the melted material, the user can take it off and put it into the cool tub, and then the user put the new mould on the machine. The time of changing mould is controlled by a optoelectronic switch automatically. When you change the mould , the main screw of the machine will be stopped, and when you finish changing , the machine will start again.
Applications and place to use:
This machine can process multiple materials such as EPS EPP EPE XPS PUR EVA into small hot melted blocks. It is middle capacity one for 100kg/h, especially used in middle to large sized recycling center, food market.
The machine is composed by four parts,

The hopper we make it half closed, it can stop the material powder comes out when crushing,and also you can add an air filter on the top of the hopper(normally no need for the filter),and the hopper is not high, you can feed the material by hand. The hopper can be opened by hand,it is easy for the user to clean the crusher tank, there is a safety switch on the hopper, when you open the hopper, all the machine power will be shut. So the user do not need to worry about the safety.
For the crusher, we use two shaft crusher on this type of machine, one shaft is welded by 9 sets of blades, and the other one is welded by 10 sets of blades.Each blade is interlaced in different angle. This design can make the blades grab the material,and force the material geting down to the barrel. Two shafts are driven by two gearbox separately. There is also a screen at the bottom of the crusher tank to filter the material , this design of blade can crush the EPS,EPE,XPS….most of the foam material can be crushed by this unit.
After the crusher, the material will fall down into the barrel, and in the barrel there is a conical screw, with this design ,the material can be melted well than the other screw. There are three ceramic heaters on the screw, each heater separate into two parts, one parts is broken the other is still working. The heaters can be used for a long time. And in the mold head there are two heating stick bars which is made by stainless steel. The mold can be open when the user finish one shifting working, it is very convenient for the user to clean the material in the mold head. Also there is a steel cover at the head of the mold to prevent the people’s hand touching the hot material.
The control box is stand on the machine, it is easy for the user to touch the button, and there are two emergency stop, one is on the panel and the other one is on the machine.
The material you get is the foam material blocks, the user can load it into the container directly to sell it. They can also crush it and make the other products. The density can reach 800-1000 kg/cubic meter, and one 40 feet container can load more than 20 tons material.
