How to use a flaring tool to expand a tube (operation ):

Used for copper tube expanding to bell mouth, so that the indoor and outdoor units of the split type air conditioner will be connected through piping.

 2. When flaring, attach the coupling nut to the annealed copper pipe first,

 3. Then place the copper tube into the corresponding aperture of the gripping pliers, the height of the copper tube showed out of the clamp is1/5 of the diameter;

4. Tighten the nut on both ends of the gripping pliers (clamp);

 5.Use the the taper head of the flaring tool to press on the pipe  nozzle ;

 6. Slowly rotate the screw clockwise and squeeze the pipe nozzle into the bell-mouth.
