 | 54 E1/ UIC 54 steel rail is manufactured according to the European standard EN 13674.1-2011. It is used for railway construction. This is flat bottom rails type with a 54.77kg mass per mete. For a standard track is used the 54 E1/UIC 54 rail for medium and heavy load traffic.
The original of the standard for the manufacturer of this type of track comes from the International Union of Railways,founded in 1922,with the objective of promoting the global rail traffic and confront the transportation challenges and promote the sustainable development. The UIC plays an important role in the pieces standardization for the railways construction,and the 54 E1 (UIC54) is the best example of this.
HANZI can supply 54E1 (UIC54) steel rail with minimum hardness 260HB without heat treatment and minimum hardness 320HB with heat treatment head hardening. 54E1 (UIC54) steel rails with Alloy steel is also available. |
