After years of car sickness and numerous instances yearly of having to stop even sometime on short trips (4+miles) to vomit, this is an amazing blessing. We used to use Dramamine, but if we didn't use it 20-30 minutes ahead of time, it didn't help. I can't say these bands are a perfect solution, but it has cut motion sickness incidents by about 95% and even then my son has not ever had to stop and vomit even if he has felt sick a couple of times in the last few months. I'm so glad our doctor's office told us about "SeaBands" the popular name brand version of this product. That is what we first bought and then we bought these to have extra pair and keep them in both cars at all times... you can't tell the difference between them, and these are about 1/5 the cost of SeaBands.
It was so amazing that our son could go to our local amusement park, Lagoon, and not get sick.
I will also say that like SeaBands, they are a little tight, but I won't complain since they work!

I took one star away because, although they have an elastic band that stretches, the size is rather small. I have smaller wrists so the fit okay, but they did get uncomfortable after a while. Haven't used these just yet but my original concern about these was how big are they actually? The picture makes it look like they are as thick as regular sweat bands however they are about a little thinner then half of a sweat band. Pretty discreet.
