1.Introduction

4. Attention

After mechanical cleaning, lay them up, if necessary, in water (or in 10% hydrochloric acid if necessary) because many salts are soluble in water. Oxides form chlorides in hydrochloric acid, then can be removed by rinsing. After drying, heat the crucibles to red heat so as to ensure that no weight loss when they are used next time.
