Injection molded magnets are produced by injecting the special pellets into the mold. This kind of magnet covers a wide range of characteristics as bonded magnets, including heat resistance and higher magnetic properties. Injection molding technique offers flexible shape design as well as over-molding and insert-molding with other parts for easy assemblies.

The advantage of injection molded magnets

• For this kind of isotropic magnets, any magnetization direction can be applied. This is a congenital advantage to manufacture the multi-polar magnets.


• Injection molded magnets have excellent dimensional accuracy and serial productivity.


• Thin wall thickness and complex shape can be manufactured.


• Over-molding and insert-molding with other parts, like back yoke, hub, shaft is readily available, as well as injection other polymer parts can be incorporated.


• The polyer binders’s volume fraction of injection molded magnets higher than the compression molded magnets. It will provide adequate protection against corrosion without coating in most applications.
