FLC-500 Series Screens, available in weaved and flat type panels are used on all FLC 500 series shale shakers. The flat type screens are constructed of two or three screen layers bonded to a perforated metal plate for added support and facilitation of repair. The weaved and weaved plus technology makes a three-dimensional screen construction, which offers a significant increase in usable screen area and theresult is a screen that increases fluid handling capacity. All thescreens are API RP 13C compliant.
There are different types via non-blanked area or filtration efficiency. Upon users' demanded, we can meet your different requirements. Our common mesh are sized API20-450. Kindly find following basic 500 series screen parameters.

Our original screens were designed to fit the Drilling Fluid Equipment range of Linear Motion shakers and since then have we expanded our range to fit most major manufacturers shale shakers. Our screens will fit linear, elliptical or circular motion shale shakers and we also have the ability to design and manufacture screens to fit any new shakers that enter the market. 2. What’s the manufacture ability?

3. How is the conductance of a screen determined, and what does it mean?
Conductance is measured by determining the flow rate of a fluid through a section of screen at a known pressure drop . The conductance results are reported as kilodarcy per millimeter. A higher conductance number means that fluid passes through thescreen more easily than a screen with lower conductance.
4. How can some meshes have API numbers that change with the screen type?
Test results can vary by several microns from one screen type to another, even though the mesh is the same. Variances can be caused by screen tension, test equipment, mesh properties, etc., that can affect the final results. Sometimes the variance is enough that the API number changes from one screen type to the next, even though the same mesh is used.
