Rice is one of the most plentiful, common and popular food sources on the earth, a staple food in many countries and U.N. estimates believe that Rice provides more than 22% of the calories consumed worldwide by people. Rice husk is a naturally hard material and serves as protection for grains of Rice during the Rice growing season. When Rice is harvested, the husks are removed from the grain to create brown rice, the brown rice is then milled further to remove the bran layer to become white rice. Rice Husks in the past were typically thrown away by rice farmers or sometimes stacked in to large hills and then burned in order to dispose of them.

We believed that there was a better use for these rice husks and through research, development and innovation. We are proud and congratulated the rice husk tableware was born.
