Desizing: There is also a small amount of PAM in the slurry bath to increase the liquid absorption rate and the desizing rate, improve the enzyme and oxidizing desizing, make the desizing more uniform, and reduce the desizing chemical concentration and reduce the desizing cost.

Cooking: PAM can reduce processing time and greatly increase production efficiency.

Bleaching: PAM can increase the ability to combine with conventional anti-migration agents to control the migration effect, promote the increase in the amount of color, and significantly reduce costs. Note: PAM added to the sulphur dyes could prevent oxidation spots on the fabrics and to significantly reduce fabric defects.

Polyacrylamide can also be used as a sizing agent and finishing agent for fabric post-treatment and can produce a soft, crease-resistant and mold-resistant protective layer.
