ZAMAK 5 Ingot
Zamak 5 has the same composition with Zamak 3. Its mechanical strength is increased by addition of 1 % copper. Its hardness and corrosive resistance are increased whereas the ductility decreases.
Coating capability is good. It has few errors of dimension. Zamak 5 is more common in Europe. It is especially used in accessories and automobile industry.
Application :
1. mainly used for electronic industry and electrooptical technology
2. In the float glass production , molten glass floating on molten tin pool surface is
easily to be cooled and solidified.
3. widely used as a coating material in High-precision electronic products, and other
requirements of precision welding products, welding products, general electronics, food
industry packaging, automotive and electrical industry, and high temperature resistant
products.
