Product Overview
Description
These snap-in food-grade plastic foundations coated with beeswax are ready to use.
6-1/4" dimension plastic foundation is used in standard medium boxes.
9-1/8" dimension plastic foundation is used in standard medium boxes.
They are available in either black , green yellow, or white.
The black color makes it easier to see eggs and young larva during brood inspection.
The white is often used for honey supers so "your honey frames" are easy to identify.
Snap-in Plastic Foundation
All Foundations are available with standard, heavy or extra heavy wax, using the finest bees wax available. Fits 9-5/8″ and 6-5/8″ supers.
All Acorn Plastic Foundations have an optional breakaway communication hole to provide movement among the frames.
Our Plastic Foundations fit easily into all standard grooved 9-1/8″ and 6-1/4″ wooden frames.
