Geotextile fabric is the geosynthetic textile material widely used to increase soil stability, provide erosion control or aid in drainage. BPM brand short staple needled punched geotextile fabric is made from a synthetic polymer such as polypropylene, polyester, polyethylene or polyamides fiber and processed by woven, needle punched or heat bonded methods. The role of the geotextile.
1: Isolation Using polyester staple fiber needle geotextile to separate the building materials with different physical properties (particle size, distribution, consistency and density), such as soil and sand, soil and concrete, etc.. Two or more materials are not lost, not mixed, to maintain the overall structure and function of materials, so that the carrying capacity of the structure is strengthened. 2: Filtration (filtration) When the water from the soil into the fine coarse material layer, using polyester staple fiber needle punched geotextile has good air permeability and water permeability, the water flow through, and effectively carrying soil particles, sand, small stones and so on, in order to maintain the stability of soil and water engineering. 3: Drainage The polyester needle punched geotextile has good water conductivity. It can form drainage channel in the soil, and make the excess liquid and gas out of the soil structure. 4: Reinforcement The use of polyester staple fiber needle geotextile to enhance the tensile strength and deformation resistance of soil, and enhance the stability of building structure, in order to improve the quality of soil. 5: Protection When the soil flows against the soil, it can effectively diffuse, transfer or decompose the concentrated stress so as to prevent the soil from being damaged by the external force and protect the soil.
