5. What is the main application of MCC?

It's modified cellulose after hydrolysis of natural cellulose with a chemically inert which can be combined with all active ingredients. With good adhesive property and plastic deformation, it can improve the tablet hardness and promote its collapse. Mainly used as binder, diluent, disintegrating agent of tablet, and the usage is 5-60% in general. It can be used as drying binder in direct compression and capsule diluent at the usage of 10-60%.
