Tianshi micronized polyethylene waxes include straight and linear chain PE waxes and modified PE wax products. They are widely used to provide abrasion & scratch resistance, mar and rub resistance, slip, as well as gloss control and anti-blocking properties. PE waxes can be used in coatings & inks, paints, inks, powder coatings, wood lacquers, powder coatings and some other similar fields.

Characteristics and Purposes

Ø         Twax-988 is the dedicated bonding wax for powder coating, its main advantages are high melting point and very small particle size.

Ø         With the particle size at 1-2μm, it is far smaller than powder coating and metallic pigment, so can coat the powder coating effectively.

Ø         Its melting point is much higher than the TG of powder coating, so this wax will not melt during the processing of bonding, so has the function of isolating the particles of the powder coating.

Ø         It will not affect the flatting of powder coating compared with inorganic materials.
