Kevlar (para-aramid) needle felt is made from 100% para-aramid synthetic fibers and provides excellent cut, abrasion and heat resistance. Because of its characteristics, this material is most commonly used when cut, puncture and heat resistance is of high importance. It has many protective clothing applications such as gloves, bulletproof vests and lumberjack chaps. Kevlar also offers other unique applications for sports equipment, musical instruments and audio equipment. This product can withstand a maximum temperature of 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Available in different sizes.
