Melting point: 1300-1350 Monel 400 alloy is a high strength single-phase solid
solution. It is a kind of corrosion resistant alloy with the greatest use, the most
widely used and excellent comprehensive performance. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, and also has excellent corrosion resistance to hot concentrated caustic liquor. At the same time, it is also resistant to corrosion of neutral solution, water, sea water, air and organic compounds. An important feature of the alloy is that no stress corrosion cracking is produced in general, and the cutting performance is good. The alloy is mainly used for stem, pump shaft and impeller, conveyor scraper, oil well drill ring, elastic parts, valve gasket, etc.
