Introduction

K7 Leak Proof Paint is a hydraulic cement material that is mixed with clean, potable water to produce an extremely rapid setting plug. It is inserted into prepared areas to stop active water leaks and moisture ingress. It is ideal for sealing around pipes and conduits, and for setting anchor bolts and railings.

Where to Use

Surface Preparation

l  Ensure the repair surface is clean and dust free and any other contaminants should be removed by high pressure water jet. Oils and greases may be removed by appropriate solvents. Thoroughly damp it with water before starting work.

l  The area to which the mortar has to be applied, should have a depth of at least 15mm to avoid feather-edging.

Mixing

l  1kg of water will require approximately 0.35L water.

l  Mix in a clean container using a trowel or mechanical mixer for at least 3 minutes. The mixture should have a lump-free, homogeneous consistency.

l  As the product set time is short, only mix sufficient material which can be used in the time available.

Shelf Life

K7 Leak Proof Paint can be stored up to 12 months in an elevated, cool dry place in original packaging.
